My years-old original laptop battery would no longer hold a charge of more than a minute or two. I literally could not bring my laptop from my upstairs office downstairs without the laptop shutting off because the power ran out. This new battery solved the problem completely and gave me more than three hours of battery life. I'm very pleased.
