I got a free review unit, since I signed up at their FOSE booth in D.C. a short while back. The first S6000K they sent had a problem with [CTRL][HOME] not working but they sent another and it worked. They seem to market this product for workstations with multiple users in grungy environments (hospitals, restaurants). I haven't yet tried to wash the model they sent as a test. It has a decent enough/sort of standard feel and response; the ability to wash off dust and grunge makes it more appealing than the freebie keyboard that came with my Dell desktop, though I like the layout and size of the Dell feebie better.

I can only agree with all the negative reviews here. I mean, we know the makers of fax and printing machines gouge us on ink. But Epson has reached a new low. The machine truly stops all functions when even one ink cartridge is dry, or thought to be dry by the machine. Even sending a fax!



Never, ever again will I buy an Epson product.



There's a free software suite called SSC that resets the ink level, but it does not yet include this machine. Those other unfortunate folks who bought this machine can look for it in the future to see if it has been updated.

Got my Lexmark printer today and it's going back today. Very poor design "glitch". Whenever I tried printing something, I'd be advised to clear up the paper jam first - except there was no paper jam. It took 30 minutes to produce 3 pages because the "paper jam" advisory kept interrupting the printing process. Very disappointing! Will go back to HP or Canon, which I have owned in the past and which have been reliable and efficient.

I have sold, installed and trained users on how to use almost 100 of these. For every technical device you purchase there is a proper way to use it. Learn how and you will enjoy it. The issue with the batteries mentioned by another user never happened to me, the problem with the USB loosing sync also must be a user error of some kind (I can think of a few) and the problem with the typing mentioned by another user has to do with the mouse and keyboard using the same or too close apart channel or interference of some kind. Wireless signal bounces like sound depending on what is interfering with it, use an extension (usb pigtail)to reposition the receiver and it will never fail. I install these in Dental offices and 95% of users are women, and they do complain if something is not working perfectly. Plus, I would be getting phone calls all the time about it.

I haven't had 1 fail on me ever.

It almost sounds like I am getting paid to write this. I am a trainer of technologies and I can't stand when someone complains about a product and the problem is lack of knowledge.

I thought I could use two or three of these types of products,but I'm glad I didn't order but one. Apostrophe key is oddly placed, ive decided to forgo apostrophes. Very lightweight and cheap looking. Buttons must be struck with authority or it will not register. Touchpad doesn;t feel bad, but it is slick and will probably wear out with use. I have to strike F1 when desktop is booting up, but this keyboard wouldnt work in that scenario. and Finally the left mouse button doesnt work, period. More than likely going back. With a functioning left mouse button and sell it fo $12 and I can live with the shortcomings, but seriously overpriced. I bought 6 of these printers at Office Max about 8 months ago. Only paid $15.99 each. I used one for printing and the rest to replace the ink cartridges when they ran out. The printer did a decent job of printing, even photos. After that I donated the printers to our local non-profit thrift store. They were able to sell them for $30 a piece! $*$ Ricoh Aficio GX7000 GelSprinter Color Printer 405635

I purchased one of these for sublimation and was so impressed with it I bought 2 more (one for another specialized ink and one for a standard printer). Unfortunately one of them wouldn't pull paper from the paper tray so I ended up calling support. I explained what was going on and what I had done to troubleshoot the issue. After asking me a few more questions the tech apologized for the problem and told me that these printers do not have this kind of problem and I must have gotten a lemon. So they shipped me a new one. It was one of the most painless support calls I've ever had to make.



Besides that problem the printers have been solid. They are a great printer for those that print. If you aren't printing a few pages with it every week I hear there can be problems but I print so much that I don't have to worry about that. The large format sizes through the bypass tray really give this printer a lot of options. They have been trouble free other then the aforementioned problem. I would recommend to any business.

I bought this printer 2 years ago, thinking that since it was so expensive (almost $400) and I had previously only had good experiences with HP, that it was a safe bet. Boy was I wrong!!



The printer does make great quality photos, but it goes through ink very quickly, and the ink isn't cheap.



Also, every time the drivers need to be updated, the printer causes our computer to freeze up, so in order to use the computer, we have to unplug the printer. This wouldn't be a problem, except that if you want to update the drivers, the PRINTER HAS TO BE PLUGGED IN! Therefore, every time this happens (third time and counting) we have to take it to Best Buy and have the Geek Squad guys upload the new drivers! WHAT A ROYAL PAIN!!



This printer is not worth the money. make your life easier and get the Kodak EasyShare docking printer. I will, and I'll never buy an HP ever again.

On the plus side this printer can handle A3 paper, large ink reservoirs and has a duplex printing option.



On the negative side it very frequently jams when feeding from the optional second tray, is very slow when printing duplex and now the paper feed from the main tray has totally failed. In addition the drivers are poor and of the 3 supplied only one seems at all reliable; except under Vista where it repeatedly forgets the options fitted and your personal settings. Its worth noting that HP have never updated the drivers since release so I suppose even they have given up on this printer.



Avoid at all costs. If you spec it for your office it will cause you embarrassment for years as all your colleagues curse whilst removing a succession of jams.
