I've bought Lexmark printers for years and have always loved them. The Z1300 is my last Lexmark however. First of all, the low price of the printer has got to be partly because it doesn't include a black cartridge, which you need to buy separately. The cartridges don't last long at all, which didn't concern me initially because I refill my cartridges. Not with this printer, though! It refuses to recognize re-filled cartridges and only gives an error message when you try to print, telling you your black cartridge is empty (even when it's full of refilled ink) and asking if you want to use only your color cartridge to print. I am now using up my color cartridge and will be buying another non-Lexmark printer to replace this one.
