I got this to replace my A21m's CMOS battery. It worked.
There are installation instructions on Lenovo's site but they're unnecessarily complicated. The battery is found under one of the two doors on the bottom of the case - the one with the modem card (?) rather than the main memory. The battery's off to one side of the compartment, partially hidden, and held with a plastic clip. The instructions say to remove the card but in fact you can simply slide the battery out through the narrow gap.
The battery itself is just a connectorised CR2032. If you're feeling adventurous you could buy one of those and solder the old wires to it. Still, I paid $8.99 and I see the price is now $5.99 and the lead time longer - for this price, it's not really worth messing about.
