I use a lot of cheap keyboards and mice, and these are the worst I've ever seen. The keyboard itself feels like the mushy cheap keyboard that you get bundled with most desktop PCs, but both it and the mouse *feel* functional. It's the third item in the box where everything goes completely sour. The first thing you notice when pulling out the wireless receiver is that it has a very long cord. A suspiciously long cord. And it is there for a reason: the keyboard and mouse will not work at all more than 2-3 feet from the receiver. This is a disgustingly short range, especially for a package billed as "wireless multimedia" which I purchased for use with a home theater PC. I have used generic brand wireless keyboards and mouse with better feel, better multimedia keys and much better wireless range which were $10 cheaper than this. HP should be embarrassed to put their name on this utter crap.
