I bought a 2 of these: Dark Silver and Scarlet Red, over 6 months ago.

Still on their original batteries, unlike the Targus mouse that goes through 2 AAA batteries every 10 days to 2 weeks. That mouse is paired with the Targus wireless keypad (that is still on its original battery, too) for my laptop .

I keep one of the V220's in standby for the lap and the other is in heavy use at the desktop.

The advertised cost of the Logitech V250 Keypad/Mouse combo was a bit prohibitive for me, given that I wasn't and still am not sure that an user can release the NumLock to use the keypad for navigation. Otherwise I would have bought the Logitech V250.
