I have used Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical mice for over 10 years. They are my favorite mouse of all time. Reasons:
* Lightweight
* Left/right symmetric
* No extraneous buttons - only what you need
* Middle click under scroll wheel works great for push-to-talk for voice chat
* Cheap
* Durable
The mice eventually wear out the Teflon pads on the bottom. A three-pack will last you a decade, however.
